Vacation to Bali Island…

On June 22, 2007 I went to bali with my best friend-Maya-; We really love bali because the situation between bali and surabaya is so different. In bali, we can relax but in Surabaya seems we are running with our time! Also, Bali has unique culture.

We had very early flight by garuda at 6.30am, and arrived in bali at 8.30am. the difference time is an hour (surabaya’s time is behind bali). Thank to God, our landing was smooth. The first time we visit is looking for food! You can imagine, we woke up at 3am, and leave to airport at 4.30am. so we really feel so hungry even Garuda Indonesia gave some breads and mineral water as their servie :-D. finally, we decided in to McDoland Kuta near by our hotel where we stayed. One night We stayed at Kuta Sea View Cottage. That’s nice hotel, has pool, and nice restaurant. And the other night we stayed at Barong Hotel (poppies Lane II street , Kuta); Barong hotel also nice hotel, has two pools, and restaurant too. The rate in Kuta Sea View Cotttage was IDR 700.000 nett / night (deluxe) , and at Barong Hotel was IDR 250.000 nett / night. For your information, for local and foreigner rate is different ( I don’t know why….  ) . After we had lunch at McD, we went for shopping (women instinct!) we visit Hard Rock Hotel and Hard Rock Café to buy some merchandise, also we went to market around Kuta to buy some Balinese shirts! After that, We rent a car, and thank to God, I have bali’s friend who help me to find in-expensive price! They gave me IDR 250.000 nett for 12 hours (the price include driver, exclude gasoline&parking). Finally we went to SUKAWATI MARKET. We bought some souvenirs there. Don’t forget you must to be good bargainer when u want to buy some souvenirs there! I was bargain 60% below they offered to me, and I got it!

After shopping, we went to Nusa Dua to tried banana boat and fly fish…. Wowowowo really nice experience! Then we continue our trip to DREAM LAND BEACH!!!!! You can try airbrush tattoo only IDR 20000, that’s temporary tattoo. The location is so far from Kuta, but the beach is more beautiful than Kuta!

From Dream Land, we stop by to our hotel, and prepared & dressed for dinner. We choose at JIMBARAN to had dinner! Really romantic place, but unfortunately only me and my best friend Maya! Most of visitors had dinner with their couple… :-D poor us! :-P From Jimbaran, we back to Hotel and slept.

The second day, we still rent a car. And we went to Bedugul Lake! When in there, we tried boat to stop by for a while to see bedugul Villa. On that Lake there is Nice Pura. When we take a rest near lake, we met tourist from Germany. His name is Bernie! He was in bali alone. And in bali he rent motor bike around bali! Wow! Really adventure man!

From Bedugul, we stop by again to SUKAWATI MARKET! Shopping again… ehehehehe. After that, we take a rest to hotel, prepared and dressed for dinner at excelco café at mall. From dinner, we continue for clubbing at the Wave Café. In that café, we found nice band with nice singers! We surprised because the singer is from Malang , east java! We found east java man there! Eheheheheh. On stage, they always call my name and maya! surprised me, the man behind me from USA thought that we were ARTIST ahahahahahah!!!!! Finally, we back to hotel too late. And prepared packing for minutes due to 24 june, 2007 we must leave to Surabaya again.

Just want give you direction if you go to bali:

1. if you like shopping, you can stay at Kuta Area. Don’t forget you must bargain if you want have good price 2. Sukawati Traditional Market, sell kinds of souvenir from bali. Still need bargain to get good price 3. if you want to travel around bali, you can rent a car, the price around IDR 250.000 (incl.driver,exclude gasoline,parking) for 12 hours. 4. if you want more quite place, you can try Nusa Dua Area to stay 5. don’t forget to bring sunblock
